A self-proclaimed godman from Uttar Pradesh has been booked by the Navi Mumbai police for allegedly forcing a woman to perform nude tantrik rituals and circulating her photos via WhatsApp. The accused, known as Baba, lured the victim under the pretense of black magic to cure her illness. The case was registered after the victim’s family approached the police, following reports that the photos were being circulated online and used to blackmail the victim. The police have seized several electronic devices from the accused.
