UK and France St strike ‘One in, One out’ Small Boat Migrant Deal

The UK and France have agreed on a pilot scheme to manage the influx of small boat migrants, dubbed the ‘one in, one out’ deal. Under this agreement, the UK will send back 50 migrants a week to France, while France will in return accept asylum seekers from the UK. This comes at the end of French President Emmanuel Macron’s state visit to the UK.
